Zippy once dreamed of being a gladiator, but is glad to be the UA mascot instead. Zippy needed some R & R, and asked David Dettling ’99 if he could stowaway in David’s backpack during his Caribbean cruise. David was kind enough to oblige, and also took Zippy to visit Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland. Zippy said that while Trinity College is beautiful, the UA campus is better. Thomas Lehman, BSN ’09, took Zippy along to Sevilla, Spain to help Thomas celebrate his passing of the RN licensure. Thomas established The Jacqueline Campbell Lehman Nursing Scholarship in 2008 in memory of his mother, Jackie Lehman. Zippy recently traveled to Windsor, Ontario with The Dragon Dream Team, Ohio’s first all breast cancer survivor dragon boat team. The ladies in pink were competing in the 2009 International Dragon Boats for the Cure Festival. The Dragon Dream Team paddles a 40-foot dragon boat and is based at Craftsmen Park in Portage Lakes.
