Designs’ and Donghia’s rooms,” Hodo says. Dubbed “Refined Repose,” C.A.I. Designs’ boudoir is decked out with a dressmaker’s button tufted headboard, mirrored side tables, a lady’s Ionian 24-20 (walls) dressing table and a rich chocolate chaise. NeoCon features the latest in trends and products, as well as concepts in office, health care, hospitality furnishings and more. More than 50,000 trade professional attendees walked through thousands of exhibitors, participated in lectures and seminars, and networked with industry peers. This year Pratt & Lambert participated in the 40th annual NeoCon Worlds’ Trade Fair with an exhibit that captured the true essence of the brand: Color, Style and Eco-friendliness. Participation in this show exposed the brand to a global market and provided an ideal platform for their ecofriendly design and color initiatives. Visitors to the Pratt & Lambert exhibit included television set designers, buyers, architectural firms, decorators, contractors and interior designers. Visitors came from as far away as Dubai, Asia and the Middle East. Attendees were treated to lively discussions with industry leaders and educational programming on sustainability in the contract furnishing industry. Robert F. Kennedy, a true advocate of environmental awareness, provided insight and inspiration on how the industry can make a difference. Exhibitors and attendees alike discussed the current economic situation and agreed that, while forecasts were less than favorable, there is light at the end of the tunnel. This industry has seen the ebb and flow of the economy before and will weather this storm. If the traffic and enthusiasm seen during the show is any indicator, that statement will prove to be very true. 32 P R AT TA N D L A M B E R T. C O M http://PRATTANDLAMBERT.COM
